From a disciple's mat at the Bihar School of Yoga to boardrooms and coaching rooms today — turning ancient discipline into something genuinely useful for modern life.
I was born in India and spent my twenties doing what most people don't — I left a conventional career path to live as a disciple under a master, studying yoga not as exercise, but as a complete science of the mind and body.
That decade, from 1993 to 2002, was spent at the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger, one of India's most respected traditional yoga institutions. I lived there, taught there, and eventually helped coordinate its youth programs. It gave me something you can't get from a certificate course: an understanding of yoga as it was originally meant to be practiced — disciplined, precise, and deeply practical.
After that, I spent years applying what I'd learned in very different settings. At Swa Swara, a CGH Earth wellness resort in Gokarna, I introduced traditional yoga practices — including Yoga Nidra and Laughter Yoga — to international guests, and trained resort staff to understand yoga as a lifestyle, not just a class on a schedule.
From 2008 to 2018, I served on the faculty at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, one of India's leading universities, teaching yoga and cultural education to students, and later delivering more than 2,000 sessions and workshops for corporate professionals and educators. This is where I first saw clearly how yogic principles — clarity, discipline, resilience — translate directly into leadership and workplace performance.
Alongside my teaching, I've worked on social impact projects with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, bringing yoga and wellbeing practices to underprivileged communities across Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. That work keeps me grounded in something I believe strongly: this practice isn't just for boardrooms. It belongs to everyone.
Today, through Vajrayaan Collective, I focus on executive coaching and leadership development — helping professionals and organizations build genuine emotional resilience, not through generic wellness programs, but through the same disciplined, tested principles I've spent thirty years refining. I've delivered more than 50 coaching engagements and 10+ organizational programs, working directly with leaders on mindset, focus, and communication under pressure.
I still teach yoga. I still work with Tantra and meditation. And through Chiranjeevi, I now also support senior citizens — helping them stay active, connected, and contributing to society, both through rooftop organic farming and a growing newsletter community.
